Mountain biking is a fantastic way to explore the beauty of the Monteverde mountains. Because it is on the Continental Divide and is a Cloud Forest, the views are dramatic, the air is fresh and there are endless photo opportunities.
You have your choice of three tour options.
Regular: Local back roads with little traffic, and smaller hills, ideal for riders with moderate skill levels who just want to get out and enjoy the sights. The morning tour starts at 9 am and the afternoon tour starts at 2:30 pm.
Private: Personalized for you with a little more excitement and based on what you want to see and your skillset. Mostly on remote back roads.
VIP: If you are a more experienced mountain biker this is the tour for you. This tour is mixed trails, remote back roads, remote forests and mountains, and volcano views, and is geared towards someone looking for an adventure. This tour comes with a support vehicle if you can not continue, need assistance, or just want to be an observer.

Each tour is about 2 hours depending on your speed and skill level. Routes are rated at 5-6/10 on the difficulty level.
Tours include round-trip transportation*, modern well-maintained mountain bikes and helmets, fruits, and beverages.
Wear light and comfortable clothing, sneakers, sunscreen, insect repellent, and rain gear if needed.
