Monteverde Mountain Biking Tours is set in the stunning mountains surrounding the Cloud Forest and Santa Elena area of Costa Rica where the air is fresh and there are endless photo opportunities. This extreme zip line (canopy) tour includes 14 regular cables, superman cable one of that is the longest cable in Latin America at 1,590 meters (approx. 1 mile), 1 hanging bridge, 1 rappel, a tunnel cable, and a mega Tarzan swing with a height of 45 meters (148 feet)!  Now that is what I call extreme!

This one of a kind activity will have you climbing trees that range in heights from 10 meters (33 feet) to 20 meters (66 feet) to ring a bell at the top. The trees have hand and footholds that have been strapped to them to prevent any harm to the trees. You will wear a safety harness attached to an automatic belays system that prevents falling. If you let go, you will automatically be lowered gently to the ground. This activity perfect for active family members 5 years old and over.

Before tourism, the Monteverde area was a farming community and to this day there are families that operate the farms in the traditional ways like their parents and grandparents.
