Monteverde - Coffee, Sugar Cane & Chocolate Tour

Monteverde is world-famous for growing Coffee, Sugar Cane, and Chocolate. The plantation is also a processing facility. The whole family will enjoy seeing the working farm in action using traditional techniques. There are several demonstrations that you will have the opportunity to participate in and taste the delicious samples of what you made.

Monteverde - Guided Nature Hike

The Monteverde area of Costa Rica is high up in a Cloud Forest and home to a specular array of animal and plant life. You have your choice of three reserves to explore: Monteverde Cloud Forest, Santa Elena Cloud Forest, or Curi-Cancha Reserve. Tours last approximately 3-hours. On a clear day, you can see both, East and West coasts of Costa Rica and the Arenal Volcano.

Monteverde - Night Jungle Hike

80% of the wildlife in the jungle come out at night so a short-guided night hike is the best way to discover the animals you may not normally see.  The 2-hour tour is extra special because it is in a Cloud Forest, one of the most biodiverse forests in the world. Cloud Forests make up only 2% of the forests on the planet.

Monteverde - Tree Climb

This one of a kind activity will have you climbing trees that range in heights from 10 meters (33 feet) to 20 meters (66 feet) to ring a bell at the top. The trees have hand and footholds that have been strapped to them to prevent any harm to the trees. You will wear a safety harness attached to an automatic belays system that prevents falling. If you let go, you will automatically be lowered gently to the ground. This activity perfect for active family members 5 years old and over.

Monteverde - Zipline (Canopy) tour - EXTREME

This extreme zip line (canopy) tour includes 14 regular cables, superman cable one of that is the longest cable in Latin America at 1,590 meters (approx. 1 mile), 1 hanging bridge, 1 rappel, a tunnel cable, and a mega Tarzan swing with a height of 45 meters (148 feet)!  Now that is what I call extreme!
